Shireroth is a micronation, which is an extremely small and usually unknown country. Micronations range from just-for-fun projects to political simulations to people trying to buy islands somewhere to crazy people attempting armed rebellion. Shireroth is somewhere in the middle, although we've never been very good at figuring out exactly where.

Like many newer micronations, Shireroth operates primarily over the Internet, a medium which gives our citizens an unparalleled opportunity to conduct business with one another from around the globe. On our discussion forum, we approve officials, conduct economic transactions, make laws, and develop a culture. We also interact with a number of other micronations out there.

There's nothing special required to become a Shirerithian citizen (CERTAINLY no money!) and if you're the kind of person who thinks this would be a rewarding experience or at least a way to have the weirdest hobby of anyone in your peer group, you're welcome to join. Check the Ministry of Immigration and Naturalization for the quick and easy form you will have to fill out.
