Q: Is Shireroth secessionist, or is it just
a game?
A: No. Shireroth does not want to actually secede from the
United States, but neither is it "just a game". It is a political
simulation, a community, and an experience. We reserve the right to
change the part about not wanting to secede if any Bush wins the next
election, though :)
Q: Do all Shirerithians know one another
in "real life"?
A: No. About half the population interacts with Shireroth
over the Internet alone. There is no preferential treatment given to
offline citizens.
Q: An absolute monarchy? Isn't that
oppressive and evil?
A: In macronational government? Maybe. In Shireroth, we've
found that it's the most effective way to work, since we're all friends
and there are no would-be tyrants to mess things up. Anyone who doesn't
like our governing system is welcome to leave, or, even better, not
join at all.
Q: I represent another micronation. Can
I open relations with Shireroth?
A: Maybe. Check the Ministry of the Exterior for more
information.
Q: Can I join?
A: Probably. Check the Ministry of Immigration for more
information.
